Smoke rises on the west of Deir Al -Bala during an Israeli attack on Monday

The World Health Organization (the World Health Organization) says that Israel’s land attack in central Gaza has led to its efforts to continue the work, after its facilities were attacked.

The United Nations Agency accused the Israeli forces of attacking a building that includes its employees and their families in the city of Deir Al -Bala on Monday and the abuse of those shelter there. The main warehouse was also attacked and destroyed.

The Israeli army has not yet attached.

The first major ground operation in the monk monastery since the beginning of the war with Hamas 21 months ago has been displaced tens of thousands of Palestinian civilians, amid warnings of a severe hunger crisis across the region.

The United Nations said on Monday that it has been receiving reports of malnutrition who have reached clinics and hospitals in very bad health, while Hamas -running Ministry of Health has been 19 people due to malnutrition since Saturday.

On Sunday, the Israeli army ordered the immediate evacuation of six blocs in cities in the south of Deir Al -Bala, warning that it would work “with great force to destroy the enemy’s capabilities and terrorist infrastructure.”

Between 50,000 to 80,000 people who live in affected areas were directed to the south towards the Maousy area in the south of the region.

The United Nations Humanitarian Office said that the United Nations staff will remain in the monastery monastery despite the evacuation order, and they spread through dozens of buildings whose horses were shared with Israel, and stressed that they must be protected.

On Monday night, the World Health Organization issued a statement saying that he had condemned the “strongest conditions” on its facilities.

She said that the establishment of employees of the World Health Organization was attacked three times, and that the employees and their families, including children, were “severe and shocked after air strikes caused a fire and great damage.”

He added: “The Israeli army entered the building, forcing women and children to evacuate on foot towards Mawasi amid an active conflict. Male employees and family members have been classified, stripped, and renewed immediately, and they were examined at the threat of weapons.”

“Two employees and two family members have been detained. Three was released later, while an employee is still in detention.”

The World Health Organization called for the immediate release of its detained employee and the protection of its other employees, who were transferred with their families to its office in Deir Pala.

The organization said that the city’s main warehouse had been damaged after “an attack that caused explosions and fire inside.” He added that the warehouse was looted later by the desperate crowds.

The agency did not blame the attack, but it said it was “part of a pattern of systematic destruction of health facilities.”

The World Health Organization has warned that its operational presence in Gaza “is now at risk, paralyzing efforts to maintain an obsessed healthy system and push survival out of reach of more than two million people.”

There has been no comment yet from the Israeli army about the attacks on the World Health Organization or the broader attack in Deir Al -Bala.

However, the Haritz newspaper in Israel reported on Monday that the forces were working to “establish a corridor that would cut the city, cut it from the Maousy area and prevent freedom of movement between refugee camps in Central Gaza, where the Israeli army is not in the presence of a ground.”

According to the United Nations, about 87.8 % of Gaza is now covered with Israeli evacuation orders or inside the Israeli military areas, leaving 2.1 million people pressure at about 46 km of land where basic services have collapsed.

Israeli sources say that the potential presence of the Israeli hostages that Hamas maintains is one of the reasons why Deir Al -Bala has not yet been the goal of the ground attack. It is believed that at least 20 of the 50 hostages are still in captivity.

The hostages families have expressed concern that the attack could endanger them.

The Israeli army launched a campaign in Gaza in response to the Hamas -led attack on southern Israel on October 7, 2023, where about 1,200 people were killed and 251 others took hostage.

At least 59,029 people have been killed in Gaza since then, according to the Ministry of Health in the region.
