Virginia police find alligator outside motel

The Verfax County Police Department, in the US state of Virginia, responded to the caller who was reported to see a crocodile early Monday morning.

Reptiles are located outside a motel, just 20 minutes south of Washington, DC.

Police told the BBC that they decided that the owner was transferring the crocodile from New York to the North Carolina Zoo when he fled.

The officials said the Virginia law, which prohibits the possession of some non -original and strange animals, and the crocodile and their owner were corrected outside the province.
