Eight people were killed after an explosion occurred near the historic Red Fort in Delhi, India, police said.
Delhi Police Commissioner Satish Jolsha told reporters that the accident occurred around 18:52 local time (13:52 GMT), when a slow-moving vehicle stopped at a red signal before it exploded.
Police said they have not yet determined the cause of the explosion, but are investigating the matter.
Thousands of tourists every day visit the 17th-century Red Fort, which is located just a few meters from a busy shopping mall.
