Trump cites Murdoch’s age to seek swift deposition in Epstein case

President Donald Trump asked an American court to order a rapid deposit of Robert Murdoch in a lawsuit against the Wall Street Journal, citing Omar Qutb’s advanced media.

Trump filed a billionaire lawsuit for an article in the magazine, owned by Murdoch News Corp, who claimed that the president wrote a “Bawdy” message to celebrate Jeffrey Epstein’s birthday in 2003.

In the court file on Monday, Trump’s lawyers stated that he had informed Murdoch before the report was published that the letter was “fake”.

Trump’s lawyers have argued that Murdoch should be asked to drop quickly, noting that he was 94 years old and “is believed to have suffered great health concerns.”

“These factors combined, weighing greatly in determining that Murdoch will not be available for a personal certificate in the trial,” Trump’s lawyers stated their deposit in the Federal Miami Court.

A $ 10 billion lawsuit (7.5 billion pounds) against the Wall Street Journal stipulates that the publication was trying to harm the president’s reputation.

Dow Jones, the publisher of the magazine, stood alongside the reports and said he was ready to defend himself against the president’s lawsuit.

American boycott judge, Darren Giles, who heads the case, asked Murdoch to respond to the Trump deposition request by August 4.

According to the Wall Street Journal, a message bearing the name Trump contains “several lines of the text written through the outlines of a naked woman, which appears to be hand -drawn with a heavy mark.”

“Inside the broad plan for a woman, there was a printed note on its classification as a fake conversation between Trump and Ibstein, written in the third person,” the paper mentioned.

According to what was stated, it contained a reference to Maza that “the puzzle is never” claimed that he ended with the words: “The hall is a wonderful thing. Happy birthday – and every day it may be a great secret.”

Trump denied writing the memo after publishing the article on July 17, and published: “This is not my words, not the way I speak. Also, I do not draw the pictures.”

The article was published amid an escalating pressure on the Trump administration to detect more information about Epstein.

Trump and Epstein had a well -known friendship for the audience for several years. The President claimed that their relationship was strained in 2004, a long time before Epstein was arrested on charges of sex.

Epstein died in suicide in 2019 while waiting for trial on charges of sex.

In addition to a Christmas greeting, the Wall Street Journal reported that Trump was said to be among the hundreds of people called the Ministry of Justice documents in Epsin.

On Monday, the president told the correspondents that his name may have been planted in Epstein’s files by former Public Prosecutor Merik Garland or former FBI director James Comey.

Trump did not provide any evidence to support his allegations. Garland and Comey did not immediately respond to his comments.
