Three ‘Nestflix’ peregrine falcons each take flight for the first time

The three stars of “Nestflix” 2025, a high-drama live broadcast of the peregrine falcon that captured the hearts of tens of thousands of Australians, have finally taken their first flight.

Over the course of three days, the three hawk chicks spread their wings and soared above the Melbourne skyline, but not without a few hiccups.

While two of the chicks were able to take off easily, one of the chicks made a brave first attempt before landing back on the edge. After overcoming the initial disappointment, he later made a second successful attempt.
