Brown said: “It comes to maintaining all stakeholders, trucks, transport companies and drivers, on the same page in the actual time,” said Brown. “The plans are changed quickly, so cooperation is about to ensure that everyone agrees to the next step and that the work is still being done.”

This next step, increasingly, is run by automation.

For decades, the industry focused on vision.
