South African women warned about viral Russian job videos

The South African government warns young women not to fall to employ social media that enhances job opportunities abroad.

This comes to a number of videos on the Internet by influencers on social media in South Africa, and the jobs of young women in Russia have become viral.

The authorities are investigating a single promotional video by the Cyan Bouje, which is now removed from its account. The Start Program for two years describes young women at the beginning of their career who want to obtain professional skills.

There are a large number of young people from South Africa from unemployed work and many of them are desperate to work.

In the Bouje Video – it was filmed in Tatarstan in Russia – viewers show the accommodation that the recruits will remain.

The influencer, his real name, Honor Zuma, describes the program as a “new beginning”, adding that “girls seemed to be treated here fairly – Africans, Asians and Latin America.”

Bouje, who has 1.7 million Tiktok followers, explains that those who were appointed will get jobs and science how to speak Russian.

It is not clear what professions in which young women will work, but the program announced women between the ages of 18 and 22.

There is no suggestion that Bouji had done anything illegal and did not respond directly to the criticism she faced during the weekend. She shows her one of her latest Instagram posts on a plane, drinking champagne, and says: “The legs spanned, poured champagne, ignoring the drama.”

The South African government is “very concerned” regarding the direction of influencers who are used to enhance jobs abroad, according to the head of public diplomacy in the country, Clayson Monila.

In X Publication, young people, especially girls, warned “not to fall into uninterrupted foreign job offers”, while others are promoted on social media.

“If something looks very good to be correct, get a second opinion,” he wrote.

There were allegations that some of those who were recruited to work in Tataristan had ended up working in a weapons factory, where they made drones in the Russian war in Ukraine.

One of the main recruits is a special economic zone in Tataristan, where these weapons are believed to be produced.

A report issued by the global initiative against the national organized crime that was released in May was considered to employ people for the “Start” program.

“Potential recruits are being seduced by participating under wrong allegations regarding the nature of work, working conditions and education opportunities,” potential recruits are being seduced by wrong allegations regarding the nature of work, working conditions and education opportunities, “adding that the goal is to support the” drone production program. “

Most of the work “directly in the production of drones, while others as support staff – cleaning workers and restaurants.”
