Senior Venezuelan gang member captured in Colombia

The alleged leader of the Venezuelan criminal gang, Trin de Aragua, was arrested in a joint operation that included Colombia, the United States and the United Kingdom.

Colombia National Police said that Jose Antonio Marquis Morales – known as Caracas – was arrested in Validubar and claimed that he played a major role in the group’s logistics and financial services management for extortion, drug trafficking, and smuggling.

Trine de Aragoa was targeted by US President Donald Trump, who announced that she was a terrorist organization and deported more than 250 people who claimed to be members of prison in El Salvador.

Carlos Fernando Triana Bilterran, director of the National Police in Colombia, said Mr. Marquis Morales was the subject of Interpol’s red notice, a request for the police around the world to detain a person suspended.

The news of detention has emerged amid continuous tensions between the United States and Venezuela over the Trump administration’s efforts to combat medicines in Latin America.

War ships have been published in the Caribbean and last month, and the ships that Trump claimed were bombing drugs, and seemed to travel from Venezuela to the United States.

The Trump administration accused Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro of being in the league with a drug card and provides a reward for information that leads to the seizure of $ 50 million (37 million pounds).

Maduro strongly rejected Washington’s accusations and defended his government’s actions against drug trafficking.
