Robin ordered Amorim Manchester United Center half Lenny Yuro improved his body language after looking visibly upset at being given a penalty Crystal Palace Sunday.
The young defender was adjudged to have fouled Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta in the first half, and the French striker then put the hosts ahead from the penalty spot.
Euro was substituted shortly after Joshua Zirkzee’s equalizer for United and left on the bench.
Mason Mount, the top scorer in United’s win, was seen consoling the 20-year-old at the final whistle.
Euros, who was signed for £52.2m from Lille in July 2024, is struggling to adapt to the pressures of playing for United and Amorim says he will learn from his experience at the weekend.
The Portuguese said: “I spoke to him because he thinks a lot, makes mistakes and then suffers.” “He wants to do everything well. He is growing, with matches and setbacks, it is not easy for him as a young man.
“He can’t show it to people the way he came to the bench, he knows it. He shows he cares, and he knows it wasn’t his best game. He’s fit and ready for the next challenge.”
Kunha returns to Manchester United
United host West Ham at Old Trafford tomorrow evening, with the home team strengthened by the return of striker Matheus Cunha.
Cunha is another player who has yet to reach his peak for United, but Amorim says his impact has been significant.
He added: “He has more levels to go. He is at a different club, facing different pressure, and he was suffering because he was not scoring goals and because of the misuse of social media. He was thinking a lot about numbers but the influence he has in the team is important for us.”
“I think he has a lot to improve offensively and defensively.”

Social media abuse was a prominent topic at the press conference as Amorim admitted he does not use it to avoid unwanted criticism.
“It’s normal in any profession to be exposed,” he said. “I don’t read it, I protect myself. I don’t watch TV when they talk about Manchester United. Not because I don’t agree with it, I do that often, but it’s a way to be healthy.
“My feeling as a coach is enough, I don’t need other feelings. The only way, there is no other way, is to protect myself.”
“Of course, I lose money from sponsors. On Instagram, I can make a lot of money (but) to protect my family and live a normal life, it’s not worth the extra dollars or pounds. It’s not worth it.
“I protect myself and no one can be tougher than me when we lose and when we don’t play well. Nowadays, it’s really normal to take this abuse, so this is the only way to survive in this world.”
Harry Maguire and Benjamin Sisko will miss the West Ham match as expected, while two other unspecified players are also major doubts.
“We have two doubts about the match, but I will not tell you about them today,” Amorim said. “It will change the way we approach it, let’s see if they can play. The rest of the team is good. Matthäus [Cunha] He’s back. Harry [Maguire] and [Benjamin] “Cisco is still out.”
United ranks seventh in the English Premier League table before tonight’s matches.
