Rangers sack head coach Russell Martin after dismal start

Rangers dismissed the main coach, Russell Martin, just 17 games in the club.

The decision comes after the last setback, equivalent to 1-1 with Falkrk.

He leaves Rangers suffering from the eighth in SPL, on the largest number of points but 11 behind the hearts of leaders.

The sour effects turned as the disappointed supporters faced the team’s bus, prompting the police to accompany Martin and his employees away from the stadium.

The club confirmed the decision in a statement on Sunday evening, admitting that “although all periods of transition require some time, the results did not meet expectations.”

He was appointed in June in a three -year deal by the New American Royal Group in Rangers, Martin arrived in hopes for entering into a new era of stability and modern football philosophy.

Instead, his term rapidly collapsed amid a series of disappointing results and increasing disorders among fans.

The Rangers season started in a state of chaos, as the club bears a total 9-1 defeat at Bruges Club in the Champions League matches.

Their local shape was a little better – it took it until late September that the team scored its first victory in the league, and left a series of frustrated clouds struggling to find the momentum.

Martin leaves after winning one of his seven preparations in the league, with a total of five wins in all competitions during his short referee.

In addition to the departure of Martin, Matt Jill and the first team coach Mike Williamson left the club.

Rangers issued an official statement expressing his gratitude to the outgoing training employees:

“Russell and his employees have worked out exceptionally hard throughout their presence in the club. We thank them for their efforts and we wish them success for the future.

“The additional updates from the club will follow in a timely manner.”
