Polish presidential candidate ridiculed for donning disguise to promote book

They say that the book is their worst critics – but for a man who can become the next president of Poland, nothing can be further from the truth.

He mocked Carole Noruki on a large scale after it appeared that several years ago, he wore a camouflage on his book on TV.

Written by a mysterious author named Tadeusz Batyr, the book documented the life of a gang -out of the eighties of the Communist eighties.

But it was now revealed that Tadeusz Batyr was a pseudonym created by Mr. Noruki, a historian and former director of the right -backed Law and Justice Party (PIS) in the upcoming presidential elections.

In 2018, Noruki appeared on TV as the variable of Tadius Patter, disguised in a hat and his face is unclear, and he was filled with himself: “This historian [Karol Nawrocki] In fact, he really inspired me … “The uninterrupted number says,” He was the first person to examine the organized crime in the Communist Poland. ”

It is even more embarrassing for the presidential candidate, a social media site appeared, as Mr. Noruki claimed that he met the author: “I spent several years studying organized crime … so Tadeusz Batyr called me for some directives,” I read The Post, which is still visible “, thanked me for helping me in an interesting book, which I recommend.”

The scandal has led to a storm of sarcasm on the Polish social media, as users wonder whether they could carry the Tadeusz Batyr campaign or Karol Nawrocki in the presidential elections.

If Mr. Noruki was concerned about the impact of his deception on the elections, then this did not appear when he was asked to comment on his clear divided character: “The literary metaphors specialists are not new in the Polish academy,” before he praised the praise again: “There was only one historian in Poland had courage to study organized crime, and that historian was.

According to the Polish newsweek magazine, the “magic” of Noroki with the underworld is known. Local media reported that the historian is familiar with many personalities associated with organized crimes and a motorcycle gangs in Poland. Mr. Noruki says any completely professional reactions.

Noruki is currently ranked second in the presidential race behind the mayor of Warsaw Rafale Tarsinski, who is from the Party of Prime Minister Donald Tusk, the liberal civilian. In third place – the right -wing right -wing candidate Slawomir Mentzen, who recently witnessed an increase in popularity. The Confederation Party calls for very low taxes, and stops what it calls “leftist ideology” and ending immigration.

The results of these elections can have echo to Warsaw, too. Poland is a major partner in the West’s support for Ukraine. Up to 95 % of the military aid sent to the country via Poland, and about 10,000 American soldiers stationed here. Poland shares the border with Ukraine and Russia and expands the speed of its armed forces, and pledged to spend nearly 5 % of the GDP of the army this year – the highest in NATO.

PIS, Carole Noruki, blamed the “European elites’ decisions” for the start of the war in Ukraine. The higher figures in the PIS party, which are carrying out campaigns for lower taxes and energy security, have accused the European Union of planning to interfere in the elections.

“These elections are very important,” said political analyst Marin Zaburovski.[Tusk ally] TRZASKOWSKI is the only candidate that is supportive of Europe, the Atlantic Ocean and Ukraine’s support. It represents a continuation of foreign policy. “

These elections are important for the column at home as well. Donald Tusk promised to reach abortion, gay marriage, and the rule of laws, when his alliance reached power in 2023. For this reason, so far, Mr. Task has not been able to issue any important reforms.

“People who voted for them [Tusk]Mr. Zaburovski says: “, especially voters or women for the first time, they may be very disappointed, but if the civil alliance gets a president who supports their program, this will be a real boost for what this government can do.”

With less than two months before the first round of voting, TRZASKOWSKI of CIVIC is a coalition in the foreground. But as opinion polls narrowed, Carole Noruki was actively outside the campaigns – eager to persuade voters that, not dark tadeusz Batyr, is their choice of the presidency.
