One person dead after shooting and fire at Mormon church

Police said at least one person was killed and nine others were injured after a car gunman drove the Mormon Church in Michigan and opened fire.

The officials said the attack on the Church of Jesus Christ for the last days in Grand Blanc, a town 60 miles (100 km) northwest of Detroit, during Sunday service attracts hundreds of people.

Michigan’s governor condemned Gretchen and the accident has passed, saying: “Violence anywhere, especially in the place of worship, is unacceptable,” adding that she was watching the situation.
