A nine -year -old boy had a rock on New South Wales beach on Sunday, the seventh person who drowns in Australia during the weekend.
Most of the deaths were caused by powerful h in the ocean of the rocks. Two people are missing.
Surf Live Saving in New South Wales, where most of the deaths occurred, ABC had been the “worst” series of drowning on the long weekend.
“It was great at the weekend, which is supposed to be happy and religious,” Pierce told Sydney Morning Herald.
The emergency teams managed to recover the boy in South West Rockers, about 400 km north of Sydney, but he died at the scene.
Earlier on Sunday, a helicopter monitored a father and a son floating in the water near Waterola Beach, south of Sydney. The 14 -year -old son was revived, but the father’s death was announced later.
Meanwhile, the police in Victoria continued to search for a 41 -year -old man who was near San Remo on Friday.
Surf Live Saving Wales said it had carried out more than 150 rescue operations since the Great Friday.
Mr. Pears said that a “perfect mix” of high temperatures, weekends, and inflationary oceans in most parts of New South Wales and Victoria caused deaths.
Although the conditions are scheduled to improve on Monday, the authorities urged those who visit the coastal line to be careful.
Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albaniz expressed his sympathy for the families of the victims. “Please, everyone, be careful. Families in particular, be careful of your children,” he said.
According to Royal Life Saving Australia, 323 people were drowned throughout the country in the year until June 2024.
This number includes those who died in rivers and tables, as well as in the beaches. Nearly 40 % of the deaths were recorded in New South Wales.
