Nigerians hit by cuts in US visa duration

The United States has announced comprehensive changes to Nigeria’s non -immigrant visa policy, as it has cut off the duration and circumstances in which most Nigerian travelers can enter the country.

Status on July 8, the US State Department says that all irregular and irregular irregular visas that have been issued to Nigerian citizens will now be released and effective for only three months.

The United States also ordered that social media accounts be examined for all foreigners who are applying for visas, including from Nigeria, due to “any indications of hostility towards citizens, culture, government, institutions or principles of the United States.”
