Newcastle Defender Dan Byrne He landed an appearance in a local pantomime this holiday season, playing a role in a production of Aladdin in his hometown of Blyth.
The 33-year-old actor will voice the Genie in the show, which runs from December 6 to December 28 at the Phoenix Theatre.
Byrne will not appear on stage, as his contribution is pre-recorded due to Newcastle’s busy Christmas schedule.
