‘Necessary’ or ‘unfounded’? Americans in Texas respond to US strikes on Iran

I asked BBC about Texas and those who visit the country what they make from US President Donald Trump’s decision to bomb three nuclear sites in Iran.

Trump told the nation in a televised speech on Saturday night that the United States had carried out “huge and accurate strikes” on three main facilities.

Iranian officials confirmed that the sites were struck, but they denied that they had suffered any significant harm.

The attack comes after the escalation between Israel and Iran, which entered its third week.
