NASA astronaut Xena Cardman captured the glow of the Northern Lights, or aurora, from above on November 17 while aboard the International Space Station.
“I still haven’t seen the aurora from below before, but here, it’s a recurring display,” she said.
Cardman serves as the commander of NASA’s SpaceX Crew-11 mission, which left Earth on August 1, according to NASA.
She encouraged viewers of the footage to look for Houston and Florida while watching.
