Munich airport in Germany canceled more than ten flights after drones were seen near the airspace.
At least 17 flights were established in Munich, affecting nearly 3,000 passengers.
Munich airport said it had transferred 15 other flights to the nearby cities.
There was no immediate confirmation of the place from which drones came. Several airports have been closed throughout Europe in recent weeks due to unidentified drones.
Munich Airport alerted the authorities after the discovery of drones.
Flights were suspended from Munich Airport, The airport said.
Air traffic monitoring the flights that were due to the lands in Munich to Stuttgart, Norwembe, Vienna and Frankfurt.
“There was no information about the type, size, or drone assets,” said Stefan Bayer, a spokesman for the FBI. Police said that drones were first seen at 21:30 local time (19:30 GMT), then again an hour later.

The scenes of the recent drones pushed through the European Union Leaders’ summit in Copenhagen this week.
20 Russian drones crossed to Poland, and Russian Mig-31 aircraft entered the Astony airspace in separate modern accidents.
Copenhagen and Oslo airports were forced to close after unidentified drones were monitored near the airport and military air parking.
Russia denied any involvement, while the Danish authorities say that there was no evidence that Moscow was involved.
Speaking to a summit in Sochi in the Sochi resort on Thursday, Russian President Vladimir Putin laughed at the unmanned suggestions to Denmark.
“I will not do it again. I will not do it again – not for France, Denmark or Copenhagen,” Putin said.
Thousands of passengers were cut off at Munich Airport overnight.
The airport said: “The camp family was created, and blankets, drinks and snacks were provided.”
The city is currently hosting the annual October Festival Festival, which is scheduled to end on October 5. The festival attracts more than six million people annually, according to the official website.
