Moment driver sees huge blast rip through port

Footage filmed by a driver, and verified by the BBC, appear the moment when a huge explosion was rocked by the Rajai Shahid port on Saturday morning, near the southern Iranian city of Bandar Abbas.

At least four people were killed and another 500 people were wounded in the explosion, according to the government media.

The explosion dawn the windows of nearby offices and caused the roof of at least one building.

According to reports, witnesses said that the explosion occurred after a fire broke out and spread to unplanned containers to store “flammable materials”, probably, chemicals.
