Mohamed Salah slams Arne Slot in explosive interview

Liverpool star Mohamed Salah Arne slammed Slott in an explosive interview after Saturday night’s 3-3 draw with Leeds United.

The Egypt international has been left on the bench for the third match in a row, and it is clear that he is not at all happy with the Dutch coach’s decision.

Speaking after the match, Salah did not back down as he said that he now had no relationship with the Liverpool manager, while indicating that there were those trying to force him to leave the club.

The 33-year-old also admitted he is very disappointed with the way he is being treated, saying he feels like he has been thrown under the bus despite providing so much for the Reds over the years.

Mohamed Salah’s explosive quotes in full as Liverpool’s season spirals out of control

See below for Salah’s quotes, as per vg.nobecause he has not backed down from his thoughts after another horrific result for Liverpool in what has turned into an absolute nightmare season.

“I can’t believe it, I’m very disappointed,” he said.

“I’ve done a lot for this club, everyone can see that over the years, especially last season. To be on the bench, I don’t know why. I feel like the club is throwing me under the bus. That’s how I feel.

“I’ve said many times before that I had a good relationship with the manager, and suddenly we don’t have a relationship anymore, and I don’t know why.

“To be honest, this is unacceptable to me. I don’t know why this always happens to me. ‘We threw Mo under the bus, because he’s the problem.’ I don’t think I’m the problem.”

“I called my mum yesterday, she didn’t know I wasn’t going to start today, I knew it. I said come to the Brighton game, it doesn’t matter if I play or not, I’ll enjoy it.

“We’ll see what happens, in my opinion I’ll enjoy it anyway, because I don’t know what’s going to happen anyway. The game will be at Anfield, so that will be my farewell before I go to the Africa Cup of Nations.

“The club made a lot of promises this summer, so far I’ve been on the bench for three games in a row. You can’t say they kept their promises.”

Can Arne Slot bounce back from this?

Needless to say, this interview couldn’t have been timed much worse for Slott.

The Reds coach is really struggling to keep things together for the team at the moment, and Salah has called him out publicly And his authority was undermined here.

Many Liverpool fans will likely side with Salah at this point, as he is a legend of the club, but he is also not the most professional in behaviour.

However, one still has to wonder how bad things got behind the scenes between Salah and Salo for the player to speak openly about this matter.
