In 1980, Mrs. Godal spoke to Terry Wogan from the BBC about how she was interested in animals and shared some of her observations about chimpanzees suspicions of humans.

The alternative and animal rights campaign, which revolutionized the wild chimpanzees study, died at the age of 91.
