Two pioneering Israeli rights organizations said that Israel’s behavior in the war in Gaza is genocide against the Palestinian population.

BTSELEM and Doctors for Human Rights-Israel have issued separate reports on Monday based on studies during the past 21 months of the conflict.

“In these dark times, it is especially important to summon things in their name,” the organizations, which were active in Israel for decades, said in a joint statement, while “inviting this crime to stop immediately.”

A spokesman for the Israeli government said that he strongly rejected the accusations of genocide, which is the first to be made by human rights groups in Israel.

“Our defense forces are targeting terrorists, not civilians, Hamas is responsible for suffering in Gaza,” said David Menker.

At a press conference in Jerusalem on Monday, Barthelem Yuli Novak said that “one of us has never imagined that we will have to write.”

88 pages of document: “A study of Israel’s policy in the Gaza Strip and its horrific results, as well as statements from major Israeli politicians and military leaders on the targets of the attack, leads us to the unpredictable conclusion that Israel is taking coordination measures intentionally to destroy the Palestinian society in the Gaza tape.”

In its 65 -page reportHumanitarian doctors told Israel (PhRI) that its legal -focused legal analysis found that Israel targeted the health care infrastructure in Gaza “in a calculated and systematic way.”

The report said: “The evidence shows a deliberate and systematic dismantling of Gaza’s healthy and sustainable regimes – through targeted attacks on hospitals, obstructing medical assistance and evacuation, and killing and detaining health care staff.”

“Silence in the face of genocide is not an option. We want to emphasize: the confrontation of genocide is not only the responsibility of legal and political institutions. Its confrontation requires an urgent action from the World Health Society,” said Dr. Jay Chefv, Executive Director of Biri.

Organizations found that the “horrific and criminal” Hamas attack “on Israel on October 7, 2023 was an exciting event that caused fear and collective shock among the Israelis.

However, in response to the attack, they claimed that the government of Israel had followed a campaign based on “strengthening extremist ideologies and ignoring the Palestinians in Gaza.”

They said that this was a reference to the language used by political and military leaders to the soldiers fighting on the ground, which described all Palestinians in Gaza as responsible.

Fari concluded that the actions that I defined “are not accidental for war, but they are part of a deliberate policy that targets the Palestinians as a group,” and at least three specific actions in Article Two of the 1948 agreement on preventing and punishing the crime of genocide, which is Israel is a sign.

A number of international rights organizations, human rights experts at the United Nations and scientists have accused Israel of being linked to the genocide in Gaza.

The International Court of Justice (ICJ) is also studying a case filed by South Africa, claiming that the Israeli forces are committing genocide against the Palestinians in Gaza.

Israel strongly denied this claim and described the issue as “unfounded” and based on “biased and false claims.”

Dr. Chalev BBC told Farri and BTSELEM who were concerned that organizations and their employees might be exposed to verbal or physical violence in Israel in response to their reports.

“But we hope that people will listen to what we say,” he added.

Juli Novak of BTSeEm said that the process to reach the conclusion that Israel was running a genocide that was reserved.

She said, “To really understand that your country, your collective, commits genocide in reality, this is a very severe mental and personal process.”

“It breaks something very essential in your understanding of who we are.”

Israel launched its war in Gaza in response to the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023, which resulted in the death of about 1,200 people and led to 251 others occupied.

Since then, Israeli attacks have killed more than 59,900 people in Gaza, according to the Hamas Ministry of Health. The ministry’s figures were transferred by the United Nations and others as a more reliable source of statistics available to the victims.
