Millions of people in Israel and Iran are preparing to escalate the fighting between the two countries after Israel launched a wave of strikes overnight.
The Israeli army said it struck multiple nuclear sites, and killed senior Iranian leaders.
Local media reported a number of drones launched by Iran in response to a successful interception.
In a registered statement, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pledged to destroy the Iranian nuclear capacity, which he said was a “clear and present danger” for his country’s survival.
Meanwhile, Iranian President Masoud Bezishian said that Tehran’s response to Israeli attacks would be “legitimate and strong.”
