Hunter S Thompson’s death to be reviewed by Colorado investigators 20 years later

Colorado officials review the death of journalist Hunter Thompson after 20 years of suicide at the request of his widow.

Thompson died at the age of 67 in his home in Woody Kreik, Colorado, a small town north of Asbin, in February 2005.

Colorado Bureau of Investigation on Tuesday said that he was “reviewing the case” to investigate in 2005 at his death, although the agency said this is not a result of new evidence.

“By bringing an external agency to take a new look, we hope to provide a final and transparent review that may provide peace of mind to his family and the public,” Colorado Sharif Michael Boujlion.

Boglion added that Thompson had a “profound impact” on his community and outside.

Thompson was a famous writer and journalist who wrote for dozens of outlets, including Rolling Stone, PlayBoy and ESPN. His novel was adapted in 1971, FEAR and Contage in Las Vegas – a semi -biography story about counter -culture in the 1960s – later in a movie starring Johnny Depp.

Other books are hellls Angels and swine generation.

Colorado officials said they have no timetable to investigate the death of Thompson and will make an update as soon as it was completed.

Thompson died of his wounds, who was shot while talking on the phone with his wife.

His son later found his body in the kitchen, according to news reports.

His death did not find any evidence of wrong play.
