One of the assistants who worked with a prominent member of the AFD party was granted in the far right in Germany a four -year prison sentence and nine months to spy China.
Jian Qouh worked in Brussels for Maximilian Kra, a member of the European Parliament for five years until last year. Cra is now a deputy in the German parliament.
The court in Dresden in East Germany heard how the former Kara assistants gathered information and transferred secret documents to the Chinese authorities.
Jian Qouh maintained his innocence, and insisted that he had not worked in Chinese intelligence, and Cra told the court last month that he learned only the allegations against his former media employee.
General prosecutors, general prosecutors, have accused German citizens of working in Chinese intelligence since 2002, in the event of fears about spying activities in China in the European Union.
He was also accused of spying on Chinese dissidents and opposition figures in Germany.
The court in Dresden said it was a particularly serious case, although in his last statement, Jian Qaw told the trial last week: “I did not work in a Chinese intelligence agency and I am innocent.”
It was claimed that Jian Qouh had worked as a processor of a Chinese national company working for a logistical company at Leipzig Airport, who was awarded a suspended prison sentence.
The woman, who identified Yaqi X, was accused of providing data on goods, trips and passengers. She confessed to passing information, but she denied any knowledge of spy activities.
In response to the duration of his former assistant prison, Cra told DPA that “immediately after the arrest, I took the necessary measure and increased security significantly in my office.”
The politician AFD resigned from his seat in the European Parliament earlier this year after his election to Bundestag in February, when he was nominated for elections in East Saxony.
He is currently being investigated by the Office of the Prosecutor in Dresden. It has been reported that the investigation involves allegations of money laundering and corruption as an elected representative in the European Parliament.
Cra described the accusations as “ridiculous and political motivation.”
