The state governor said that at least eight people died in a hot air balloon accident in Brazil.

Santa Katarina Gorginho Milo said in a post on X.

Milo said 13 people survived and died eight. He said that the rescue teams are at the site of the accident, which is looking for others.

“We are all shocked by the accident,” he added.

“Our teams continue to provide all the necessary support to families and victims.

“We continue to monitor the situation.”
