Mohamed Salah lashes out and says he has been ‘thrown under the bus’ by Liverpool and Arne Slot

We have no relationship – Salah is on the slot

Salah signed a new two-year contract in the summer after an impressive season in 2024/25, Slot’s first at the club, but he says his relationship with the Dutchman is no longer what it was.

The former Roma and Chelsea striker said: “I said several times before that I had a good relationship with the coach, and suddenly we no longer have any relationship.”

“The respect I want to get. I don’t have to fight every day for my position because I’ve earned it. I’m not bigger than anyone but I’ve earned my position. It’s football. It is what it is.

“Tomorrow (Jamie) Carragher will come after me again and again and that’s good.”
