Democrats on the US House Oversight Committee have released a new trove of materials, including photos and videos, showing the private island home of the late financier Jeffrey Epstein.
The photos were secured through a subpoena to the US Virgin Islands, where the residence is located.
In a statement, the committee’s Democratic leader, Robert Garcia, said they collectively constitute a “disturbing view” into Epstein’s world and are being released “to ensure public transparency.”
