Frank ‘delighted’ to announce leadership group and praises Bentancur after contract extension

Tottenham coach Thomas Frank named the leadership group after taking over in the summer.

One of Dane’s first jobs was the naming of a new leader after he left Heung-MIN to LAFC, and settled on Christian Romero.

Now, he added some of the main characters to the group around him, including Ben Davis, Mickey Van de Vin, James Madison, and Gollemo Vicario.

He spoke before the club’s trip to Leeds this week, he said: “Finally! You paid me, comrades, so I had to make a decision. I could no longer postpone.

“It has reached a few parts. There are quite a few leadership capabilities in it, and I think that the more we can want to speak and take responsibility for the biggest picture, that was better.

New contracts

In addition to the new group, Frank talked about midfielder Rodrigo Bentancourt signs a new contract.

He added: “First of all, it is great news that the club managed to expand the contract of Romero first, but it is now Bentancore.

“I think this is a great sign that both believe in the project and the future here. We hope that the great journey we will be together will be.

“Bentancourt is a better player. He was a big player in Tottenham. I think we can get more. There is a higher level.”

Finally, Spears manager gave a general update on his players.
