Torrential weather hits Valencia region year after deadly floods

The Valencia region of Spain was shocked by more bad weather, a year after the death of fatal floods more than 230 people there.

A red alert was placed in its place where the storm hit Gabriel the area. Flood water shots appear in parts of Valencia and Zaragaza, in the neighboring Aragon region.

The IEMET Meteorological Agency said between 160 and 200 mm of rain, which decreased in six to eight hours around the Ebro Delta.

No injuries were reported, but schools, libraries and gardens are closed in Valencia on Monday.
