
The Israeli army told the Palestinians that the evacuation of Gaza City is “inevitable”, as its forces are preparing to conquer it.
In a post at X on Wednesday, Arab Army spokesman Avichai Adri said that families moved to the south “will receive the most generous humanitarian aid.”
Witnesses said that the Israeli tanks pushed a new area in Gaza City overnight, forcing more residents to flee. Thousands have already moved due to the recent Israeli progress – most of them to other parts of the city, where about a million Palestinians are still living.

The Israeli army launched a campaign in Gaza in response to the Hamas -led attack on southern Israel on October 7, 2023, where about 1,200 people were killed and 251 others took hostage.
Nearly 62,900 people have been killed in Gaza since then, according to the Hamas Ministry of Health.
