Heavy rainfall causes floods in northern India

Heavy rains resulted in landslides and sudden floods throughout northern India.

On Tuesday, more than 30 people were killed near a famous Hindu shrine in the Indian director Kashmir.

The rain also struck parts of the states of Himachal Pradesh and Punjab, leaving the veiled roads and immersed properties.

Rescue operations are taking place, as the authorities deploy helicopters and boats to evacuate the people who have been triggered in affected areas.
