More than 100 organizations have signed a joint speech calling on Israel to stop the “aid weapon” to Gaza, while deepening hunger.
Human groups, including Oxfam and Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), say they are increasingly informed as “unauthorized” by providing assistance, unless they comply with the most striking Israeli regulations.
The groups risk the embargo if the State of Israel is “removing” or does not provide detailed information about Palestinian employees.
Israel denies that there are restrictions on aid and say that the rules, which were presented in March, ensure that relief work is carried out in line with Israel’s “national interests”.
According to the common messageMost NGOs (NGOs) have not been able to provide one truck from life -saving supplies since March 2.
They say that the Israeli authorities “have rejected requests from dozens of NGOs to bring in life saving goods,” noting the new rules. More than 60 requests were rejected in July alone.
The statement said that the inability of the relief groups to provide aid “left hospitals without the basic supplies, children, persons with disabilities and the elderly who die from hunger and preventive diseases.”
“Anira has more than $ 7 million of life saving supplies ready to enter Gaza – including 744 tons of rice, enough for six million meals, was banned in ASHDOD just kilometers away,” said Sean Carroll, CEO of American East EXTE AID (Anira).
Update the new guidelines that were presented in March, a framework of how to register relief groups to maintain their status inside Israel, as well as the rulings that define how to reject their requests or cancel the registration.
Registration can be rejected if the Israeli authorities consider that a group denies the democratic figure of Israel or “strengthening the landing campaigns” against the country.
“Unfortunately, many relief organizations are working as a cover for hostile activity and sometimes violence,” Israel’s Diaspora Minister Amishi Czechs told France Pan.
“Organizations that are not related to hostile or violent activity, and no relationships with the boycott movement are granted permission to work,” Chicli added.
Busher Khaldi, the leadership of Oxfam Policy, said that Israel rejected more than $ 2.5 million (1.8 million pounds) from entering Gaza.
“This registration process indicates that their ability to work may come at the expense of their independence and their ability to speak,” she added.
This warning comes at a time when Israel increases its bombing in Gaza City, in preparation for a plan Control of the city.
Israel says it will provide humanitarian aid to the civilian population “outside the combat areas”, but it has not determined whether this aid will be provided by the United States -backed Israeli Foundation (GHF).
Israel says that the regime is necessary to prevent Hamas from stealing aid, an accusation that Hamas denies.
The United Nations reported this month that 859 Palestinians have been killed near GHF sites since May, a number denied GHF.
“The military food distribution plan has weapons hunger.”
The Secretary -General of the Medicine Without Borders, Chris Lokier, BBC, told the GHF was “the trap of death”, and the humanitarian situation in Gaza was “suspended by a thread.”
The Hamas attack for the year 2023 killed about 1,200 people in Israel, with 251 seized and took hostage to Gaza.
Since then, the Israeli attack has been killed nearly 62,000 Palestinians, according to the Hamas Ministry of Health. She says 235 people, including 106 children, also died due to hunger and malnutrition.
