Veer Singh and Kali Devi, both of them from construction workers, went to a nearby village to buy groceries when floods and flashing their house in the state of Uttrantal in the north of the state of Uttrantal.
Their families have been-three children, the daughter of a wife and two grandchildren-lost since then.
They are among the 100 missing people after the deadly floods destroyed the village of harmful state on Tuesday.
UTTARKHAND, which is located in the western Himalayas, is very vulnerable to floods and landslides.
