Huge stick insect discovered in Australia

A researcher at an Australian university has discovered a new type of backed insect in a remote rain forest in Queensland, Australia.

Professor Angus Emott has identified the new types of acuphylla alta in curtains in the mountainous tropical zone in the northeast of the country.

The insect is about 40 cm. James Cook said in a statement that this sample weighs 44 g, and it is “a little less than the golf ball.”
