‘I heard an explosion, saw fire and smoke’

A teacher in Bangladesh described the moment when a plane crashing a plane on the school campus was seen in Dhaka.

Masoud Tarik was at the hands of a teacher school when he heard an explosion behind him.

At least 19 people, including the pilot, died when a Bangladesh Air Force training plane crashed on Monday.

About 164 people were injured, as 50 people – including children – were taken to hospital with burns.

The armed forces said that the F-7 had witnessed a mechanical error after taking off.
