John Kerry says ‘Trump was right’, Democrats allowed migrant ‘siege’ of border

Former US Secretary of State John Kerry told the BBC to allow his colleagues to the United States and Mexico to be “under siege” during the presidency of Joe Biden.

Sometimes, Kerry – who was a democratic presidential candidate in 2004 and a member of Massachusetts – said that he told Biden that the party was “lost” on the issue of immigration for years.

He said this had allowed Republicans like Donald Trump with a political advantage.

“Trump was right,” Kerry said. “The problem is that we all should have been right.”

“You can rotate it anyway, but in my opinion, it is a political agenda to stir fear and terror.”

On Tuesday, Los Angeles and seven other cities in California joined a lawsuit against the Trump administration, claiming that federal immigration enforcement procedures are illegal. California has submitted a summary to support the lawsuit.

Rob Punta, California Prosecutor, issued a statement denouncing what he said was “a harsh and familiar pattern of attacks on our migrant societies by an administration that flourishes for fear and division.”

The condemnation, legal battles, the tactics that Democrats relied on during the first period of Trump, when the Republican Policy represented in the separation of migrant families that crossed the border between the United States and Mexico was born widely anger.

Such fears were faded, and by 2024 the enforcement of strict immigration again became a Republican discussion point.
