An official confirmed that the American Secret Service issued comments for six individuals on failures in a group of Donald Trump last year, during which a gunman tried to assassinate the Republic.
Matt Quinn, deputy director of service, told the American BBC CBS News that the assembly in Bater, Pennsylvania, when Matthew Crocs opened fire on Trump and killed another present, which was “operational failure.”
One of Trump’s ear bullets sponsored the Ear of Trump, who then rushed to safety. The attacker was shot.
It is not clear when the employees’ commentaries were officially released, and American media reports differ about whether they have already been submitted or not.
Speaking to CBS, Queen said that the employees had received penalties ranging from 10 to 42 days of leave without pay or advantages.
“The secret service is completely responsible for Bater,” he explained. “Petler was a operational failure and today we focus on ensuring that this does not happen again.”
Queen, who was appointed in his role in May this year, added that he “focuses on the laser to fix the root cause of the problem,” but his organization will not “launch our way from this.”
Quinn told CBS that a number of improvements have already been made, including military -class drones and improved portable driving partnerships that can now be used by agents in this field.
The identities of the suspended staff and their roles were not revealed on the day of the attack.
The news comes a few days before the anniversary of the attack on July 13, 2024. The attendees were killed in the Korean Kombertur Rally and two other people were injured.
The accident pushed the director’s resignation at the service at the time, Kimberly fraud.
The secret service has been subject to intensive audit over the past 12 months, and has faced sharp criticism from members of the US Congress.
Last September, a 94 -page report found that security failure and lack of communication within the US Secret Service “contributed directly” to the incident, and that many issues remained unsuccessful after two months.
The attack was also described as being prevented in another report, published in December, by the House of Representatives Labor Squad. That main separation paper determined that it failed to secure the surface from which the fraudsters opened the fire.
Trump, who was successfully re -elected in November, was supplied safely in the aftermath of the attack – to ensure that he has obtained protection at a higher level than usual for the presidential candidate.
In September, he was transferred back to safety by secret service agents after he was a lucky armed man at the Trump Golf Stadium in Florida. This FBI described this as a clear assassination attempt.
The suspect was arrested in this second incident.
