Children queuing for supplements killed in Israeli strike in Gaza, hospital says

A hospital says there are at least 15 Palestinians, including eight children and a woman, in an Israeli strike near a medical point in central Gaza.

Al -Shuhada Hospital said in the residence that the strike was hit by people, waiting for food supplements in the town of Deir Kalah. The video clip of the hospital showed the bodies of many children and others who were treated with their wounds.

The Israeli army said it was verifying the reports.

According to 26 people were killed in strikes elsewhere in Gaza on Thursday, when the delegations of Israel and Hamas continued in the negotiations for the new ceasefire and the release of the hostages in indirect talks in Doha.

Despite the optimism expressed by the United States, which works as a mediator with Qatar and Egypt, it seems not yet approaching a penetration.

On Wednesday night, an Israeli chief journalist in Washington told Washington that it could take a week or two to reach an agreement.

The official, who was speaking during a visit to the United States by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, said that if an agreement was reached to a 60 -day ceasefire, Israel will use that time to provide a permanent end to the war that requires enthusiasm. They added if Hamas refuses to disarm, Israel will continue with military operations.

Earlier, Hamas issued a statement saying that the talks were difficult, as Israel blamed “stubbornness.”

The group said that it had shown flexibility to agree to the release of 10 hostages, but it repeated that it was seeking a “comprehensive” agreement that would end the Israeli attack.

The Israeli army launched a campaign in Gaza in response to the Hamas -led attack on southern Israel on October 7, 2023, where about 1,200 people were killed and 251 others took hostage.

At least 57,680 people have been killed in Gaza since then, according to the Hamas Ministry of Health in the region.

Most of the people of Gaza were displaced several times. More than 90 % of homes are estimated at damage or destruction; Healthcare, water, sanitation and hygiene systems collapsed; There is a lack of food, fuel, medicine and shelter.
