President Donald Trump praised the Liberian President Joseph Boukai on the English language, during a meeting with many African leaders in the White House.
Trump told Bakai that he was speaking “such a good English language”, and asks where he went to school.
The visitor laughed politely, but he did not mention that the English language is the official language of Liberia.
The oldest republic in Africa, was founded in 1822 by American slaves who released them with the aim of resettlement of free blacks in Africa.
