Moment Israeli forces board Gaza aid boat

The security camera footage shows the moment when the Israeli forces resigned a yacht that was carrying activists towards Gaza, to provide humanitarian aid.

The 12 activists, including the Swedish activist Greta Thonberg, were arrested, and their boat, Madeleine, was withdrawn to the Israeli city of Ashoud.

The MADLEEN trip was organized by the FRIDILLL Alliance, a group of campaigns trying to violate the siege on Gaza imposed by Israel in 2007 when Hamas took control of the region.

Activists who sailed on June 1 said that the goal of the task, which carried a small amount of supplies, including rice and childhood formula, was raising awareness of the current humanitarian crisis in Gaza caused by Israel’s restrictions on handing over aid.

Israel rejected it as a “selfie yacht”, saying it would deport activists to their countries of origin.
