The military government in Myanmar said that at least 2000 people were killed in an earthquake of 7.7 beaten last Friday.
“The number of deaths is more than 10,000 is a strong possibility,” according to the American geological survey.
The Burmese army, which reduced civil losses in the past after other major natural disasters, does not allow foreign journalists to enter the country.
