4 dead, including officer in Midtown attack

One of the gunmen, who was practicing a gun similar to the attack, stormed a skyscraper in the heart of New York, killing four people before shooting himself.

“He was doing the task we asked him to do. He made the final sacrifice,” said Tish.

Mama Bouhni, who works at the nearby SIP & Scoo Café with the incident, told the BBC that she saw dozens of people from the surrounding buildings that are evacuated.

She said that they held their hands over their heads.

Mrs. Bohini said that she got to know many of them as customers. “This is very terrifying for them, and I hope they can go home safely.”
